Heritage

Adjacent to the grounds of Ta’ Marnisi stands St. Peter’s Church, built in 1682 by Father Peter Busuttil and designed by architect Lorenzo Gafà. Enlarged in 1875 and later embellished, the chapel reflects the layered architectural and cultural history of the area.

Its modest dome and three altars, together with significant artworks and burial sites of prominent Maltese families, reinforce the longstanding importance of the surrounding estate lands.
